Breastfeeding Is this normal? I was reading Baby Laughs by Jenny McCarthy and had a chapter on breastfeeding. She did not even try. No big deal. But she is talking about how she was dripping everywhere for a while and it hurts a lot because she was so swollen. I never had that. No pain, no leaks. I have larger, however. My son never latched on, but I tried to pump every two hours for 30 minutes each during the day for six weeks. I never did more than 3-4 ounces a day. Only leaked once, and my breasts had distorted the time, while I was wearing a bra. Did that happen? Or was it more like Jenny? My experience is that it seems more and more different from that of other women and I am wondering if there is something wrong. I know you can give it a shot to start breastfeeding, maybe something simple like that would work.
